New Water Coil Facility in Georgia Expands Price’s Capacity
Price is constantly looking for opportunities to vertically integrate to expand the areas in which we serve, and this is exactly what drove us into water coil manufacturing more than 15 years ago. In recent years, however – with the growth of our sales representatives, the introduction of new products like DOAS fan-powered terminal units and the expansion of our fan coil product line – it has been a challenge to keep pace with the escalating demand for water coils. It was time for a new plant.

Located in Lawrenceville, GA, Price’s Progress facility (named for its Progress Center Avenue address) opened for business in April 2024. Boasting 55,000 sq. ft., with 40,000 sq. ft. dedicated to production, this plant is poised to take our water coil manufacturing to another level.
Our water coil fabrication was previously confined to a 14,000 sq. ft. space at our Winder facility, which limited our expansion options for the product line. And with a location halfway between the Winder and Crestridge plants, the new factory will facilitate quick-turn deliveries to our other facilities, ensuring seamless operations and optimal connectivity.

The factory represents a substantial investment for Price and has undergone a total transformation to meet the highest industry standards. From a complete overhaul of the office spaces to the installation of a new HVAC system providing air-conditioning in the production area, no detail has been overlooked.
The factory’s modernization includes cutting-edge equipment, such as a new coil-drying oven designed to eliminate water and residual oil from aluminum fins, additional fin presses for enhanced capacity and dedicated brazing stations to streamline production processes.

As the factory’s doors opened, it signaled the dawn of a new chapter for coil manufacturing at Price. With everything now in place, this new establishment stands ready to make its mark on the HVAC market, one coil at a time.
