Respecting Others and Finding Balance
Price is celebrating its 75th anniversary throughout 2024, and our commemoration of this milestone will dedicate special attention to the 13 tenets of the Price Way. Each post in this blog series explores one of these guiding principles, giving our blog readers a closer look at its meaning.
In this post, we’ll be looking at what straight goods means at Price.
Price’s lab in St. Jerome, QC, in 1970; this was our first sound chamber and the beginning of our commitment to research |
We guarantee the performance of every product we sell – a promise that our customers can take to the bank. Providing straight goods means forgoing gimmicks and never relaying misleading information. Customers can trust the integrity of all Price employees and every statement they make, without exception.
Price is a science-based company. We design and build complex, engineered products that our customers expect to perform in a specific way. To ensure we meet these expectations, we get the science right by using our world-class lab – Price Research Center North – to measure product performance.
By design, this laboratory is capable of measuring performance to a masterful level of precision. Wherever possible, we automate the data capture and experimental procedures to minimize manual labor, permitting data collection and analysis 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This automation, coupled with lean manufacturing protocols applied to research and development in a state-of-the-art laboratory, results in our designing and launching new engineered products in record time.
We take pride in every product we build and in every job we sell. If, down the road, issues arise with our products that warrant remedial action, we will step up to the challenge and will solve the problem. Every job is a reference job that contributes to our reputation. Customers’ urgent problems become our urgent problems too, and we will do all that is required to keep our customers whole – a wholeness that extends beyond finances to our relationship.

During times of uncertainty, our customers can be certain about us, and when it’s performance that counts, they can count on our products.
